Hi I have a psp with 2.71 firmware right now. I bought it one week after christmas. It had 2.00 Firmware on it. I looked at what kind of motherboard it has and it has a TA-082 (I Looked Behind The Umd Drive And It Has The Marking Of IC1003). I downgraded it from 2.00 to 1.5 and it worked, so do you think I will be able to downgrade it now.
PLEASE HELP

if the back of the psp
like
-open the umd drive
-look at the top right corner inside it
-if it's TA-079...then you'll have a bright insignia laser burned "IC1003" on it

That's for TA-082.
I think TA-079 is the first version PSP released.
