New eloader for 2.00-2.01 without the need of gta!

Description:
This is an eboot loader which loads eboots through a tiff exploit!
This is a great day for the 2.01-2.60 users who are unfortunate enough to have a ta-082 motherboard or just don't want to downgrade

By now you're probably wondering, "What on earth is Porter?". Or maybe, what's next? Well, here's a rough roadmap for what we're currently working on:

* A user-mode loader for v2.70 and v2.71.
* A user-mode loader for v2.80.
* A loader to support kernel-mode homebrew on those platforms where it is possible.
* A way to do away with eLoader altogether, and load homebrew directly from the XMB.

We will not predict when these will be ready (so please don't ask!), but we're working as fast as we can on them.

if i were to try this on a 2.71 psp, would i run the risk of bricking??

nope because this does not touch the flash0 or even flash1 files, and from what i understood this is only in user mode but don't worry a 2.71 eloader will come out soon in a matter of time i have tried in emulated 2.71 and nothing happens just freezes my psp

yeah i tried it too and it just froze (it didnt even turn off

) thats wierd that hello world works on all psp, but the eloader only works up to 2.6

. oh well, i dont mind waiting, im just getting REALLY excited (i have never experienced homebrew.)

by the way, johny5, do you know the progress of the 2.71 eloader?? i dont need to know how long it will be until it is realeased, im just worndering what step they are on...like the eboot launcher part, or final touches or what??

Anyone know if this actually load every time? (unlike the 2.71 downgrade)
If it does can the 2.6 to 1.5 downgrader be used with this? (it would be easier than using GTA)

cool news. i dont like the eloader though, since it's very inconvienient and a pain to use.

but, for those with the newer psp mobos, it should be good news.

this is basically news for those with a ta-082 motherboard because they can't downgrade because firmware 1.5 IPL doesn't support the new hardware. and this new eloader isn't such a pain as the gta one because u can just load it right away from the picture veiwer, not from a savegame!

It does work, but for some reason, the snestyl emu doesnt work for me
