Hi everyone. In spite of me renewing my interest in the PSP I decided to create a PSP magazine much like the old eMag that had been abandon decades ago (I might be exaggerating a little). Nevertheless I need a crew! This includes writers, editors, graphic artists, and what not. I’ll probably need a second EIC (and if you don’t know what that is, the job’s probably not for you). The thing is: I never started a magazine before. The only experience I gained came from a editor's position, writing for my high school’s newspaper. So any help and/or advice would be greatly appreciated. Here is what I plan to include in my magazine.

The twist here is that it’s not truly a magazine that writes for itself. It borrows content from different sources and combines it into one easy to understand and highly attractive read. This I planned through creating a simple consistent layout and pulling the most significant information from each source into each article presented in the magazine. Of course I’ll probably need to gain the permission from each of these sources, but if all goes well this is what I have planned:

* Games (Sources: IGN, Gamespot, etc.)
* Movies (IMDb, Yahoo!, etc.)
* Music (MTV, VH1, etc.)
* Electronics (Engadget, etc.)
* Fashion (???)
* Food (???)
* Babes (Maxim, FHM, Stuff, etc.)
* Digg Content? (Top 5 articles of the month each issue)

On top of those categories I wish to incorporate the following:

* Fan mail
* Fan art
* Funny caption contest
* Comic
* Game cheats

*Of course all of these may not make it to the final version of the magazine depending on circumstances.

Note: The reason I chose to borrow content from other sources was because I don’t know of any connections to pull such great substance together. If and when the magazine gains popularity and the possibility of more ambitious writers, only then I shall consider having all these topics covered by our own inside people.

I would consider joining I'm 16, and have a keen interest in ICT, i work in my spare time in a computer sales and repair centre in the United Kingdom. I have excellent writing skills (i might say), plus, what is more you have mentioned that you will 'borrow' news from other sites... i would be keen to help in any way shape or form,- big or small. thanks.
