hey everytime i download a game and put it on my psp, wen i try to play it, the psp says the file is corrupted, and it says it on everygame i have downloaded. does anyone know whats going on?

I don't really know, the answer but here's a few things to consider;-
is your firmware compatible with that homebrew
are you using the correct loaders/emulators
are the files in the correct place- IE. in the root of the mem stick or the ISO folder
do you require a UMD in the drive to run that game or to open the loader
-these are all usually found in the read me files or on the website you downloaded them from.

what firmware r u running cos u have to have 1.5 to run the games! sorry if u already knew this and think i am taking a did....but u list ur PSP firmware as "Don't Own!".

sup guys, wel i have a 1.00 psp and i tried the ir shell on it and it worked perfectly. then i used themepsp through the ir shell and installed a superman theme, and it glithced my psp a lil, so i just updated to 1.50 and then downgraded to 1.00 again nd i saw that everything got fixed, so then i thought that maby it wus just that theme that wuz fucked up, so i tried the pimp my ride theme, but then wen i exited the ir shell the psp restarted normally and then wen it wuz about to load the menus, it froze and just shut down. and now wen i turn my psp on it loads up and u see the bg but then again wen its gunna load the menus i freezes for a ouple of seonds and den shuts down. if i place a umd that works on firmware 1.00 like the demo disc that the psp brought, it starts up perfectly but wen i press home and yes it does the same thing as i stated above, only this time it also shows the battery meter. another person from another forum told me that its prob a font problem inside the psp flash. is there any way that i can fix this. all i need is a way to run the fileassistant so i can replace the theme files with the default files. any ideas any1?

OK downgrade to FW 1.5 and get the latest version of DevHook. Put all your games in a folder named ISO. Put that ISO folder on the main root of your memory card. Launch DevHook and hit (O) then choose the game you want to play. I haven't had any problems playing games this way.
