Note: This version allows a 1.5 user to emulate 2.71 FW, and launch homebrew under the emulated FW, without rebooting back to 1.5


You will need to edit the sfo file that's in the sdk folder inorder to make your homebrew compatible,
For instructions on how to convert your hombrew load the "homebrew on 2.xx+devhook" eboot in the emulated fw...

Devhook changelog:

Support for loading EBOOT.PBP on memory stick and EBOOT.BIN on UMD(ISO) in ELF format.
Fixed problems that made 1.50 NoUMD not functioning.
Added more exclusive controls added to flash emulation. As well as other memory stick breaking countermeasures.
Memory map changed for rebooting.

so wait, does this work on 2.71 psp's?? or do you still have to have 1.5??

Damn, things have been moving hella fast since the 2.5/2.6 downgrader.

Wow, homebrew on 2.71, this is a step forward, but it has less compatibility than the eloader because it cannot load elfs (which many homebrews use). Hopefully, this can create a fully realized 2.71 with homebrew.

This isn't even close to homebrew on 2.71. It's like those custom firmwares that only work on 1.5.

This is great.
Booster is certainly doing a great job with this loader.

I added a custom font and game boot and sound with this download, as well as a cool wallpaper...

So do you guys like it?

I don't understand the instructions on the "homebrew on 2.xx+devhook" program. I don't understand anything past step 1. All i have is devkitpsp7. I need serious help. Thanks alot for your help It will be very much appreciated. I do have a 1.5 psp but has been changed to 2.71 by devhook. btw love ur animation at the start of starting a game and makes me energized everytime I see it.

I also dig the game startup animation. The text is nice too, tho its a little much in the web browser. Any easy way to change this?

Also, my psp always locks up when starting a game (UMD or ISO) when devhook is set to 333/166mhz. Works fine when launching UMD from XMB when 2.71 is emulated, but can't play ISOs at 333. Anyone else having this problem?
