Square-Enix is probably happy that they didn’t give up on animation after Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within. The Final Fantasy VII sequel, Advent Children, sold 2.4 million copies of the DVD/UMD worldwide. The movie was released on April 25th in North America where 1.3 million units were sold. Another million copies were sold in Japan since September 2005.

The spirits within was a sucky movie. I returned it i didnt like it so much. I havnt seen Advent of children one.
