Worlds First PSP Modchip: Undiluted

We were just given this awesome news.

Some features of the modchip:

Ability to run dual firmwares, Even Custom Firmwares, Similar To XBOX 1
Will work with all current designs of PSP
Will work with all current firmware systems.
Run Homebrew, on any firmware.

We havnt received any information on how many solder points there are, and how hard installation will be for the average end user. But im sure we will be offering a install / chip service once the chip hits.

The original source for this news is the Maxconsole forum. The news was posted by a respected member, one of the administrators of the site. He claims that this is 100% real. He also said that it will require soldering. I still have some doubts about this but it looks promising. I don't know how the hell they could fit a modchip inside the psp though.

Anyone know if this will be the key to running 2.0+ firmware games like syphon filter and such off the mem stick? Would be tight as hell, especially if they incorporate stuff like the first xbox, with like XBMC or somethin like that

If this chip doenst make all games run on every psp its pretty useless and no real modchip..

so i hope its a real one! I guess its not gonna be cheap and maybe not so easy to install..

pretty unlikely to post picture but no stats.. as it seems a final design and no test board..

Is there any way that Sony would be able to disable it via new firmware or perhaps a check for it in online games or anything of the sorts. That will kill the whole thing right there.
