hi peeps i was so excited because finally my bro sent me a samurai warriors:state of war. but then again, with all disappointment, it requires you to upgrade to 2.6. sheesh. i have a black us psp with a firmware version of 2.0. i know there are a lot of good homebrews out there that are being developed so i have no choice but to keep my SW:SOW for the meantime.

i just want to ask if is it possible for me to play my 2.6 umd with my 2.0 psp firmware version. i mean like a umd loader for 2.0 that can play samurai warriors? help is much appreciated.
thanks guys.

you could use runumd. it extracts the files from the disc's update. it should be able to run the 2.6 firmware game but if this doesn't work use the genesis one (it's name is genesis umd firmware 2.6, or something like that so it should runt th 2.6 game, right?) well n e ways use those and extract the data to a "X" folder that should be created in the root directory im not sure how good the stability is on this so if it crashes a lot don't be suprised. and you can also use the pspset thing there is (i haven't ever used that so i don't know what to say about it)

good luck and i hope u get to run the new umd you just got
