I am bored so i thought id start a topic off about Doctor who, so for the people who watch it: what are your thoughts about the new series?
I thought Christopher eccleston was good but this series is shaping up to be excellent especially with the return of the cybermen!

I saw SOME of one of the epis, then had to try and explain the whole damn thing to my fiancee. I felt like a complete geek telling her all about it, and some of the background (why the tardis is a call box, why there have been so many different doctors over the years, etc.), and all she could say was. "wow, stupid", which pretty much summed up what I thought of the new series...I DID like the guy playing the Doctor, tho...he had a good presence to him, and a bit of edginess the previous incarnations didn't have.

not too keen on doctor who but the new actor is better kind of wierd

I think the new series is different but still sticks to the originals mould.

i'm enjoying the new series alot i thought this new doctor was gonna be shit compaired to the last guy who i thought ruled but this new one has alot of 'doctor-ness' about him the Cybermen though ARH god they were well amazing they have done very well re creating them!
