1up has posted some information regarding the upcoming Family Guy game from 2K and High Voltage. Luckily, Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane is helping them create the game.

In the game, you take control of Peter, Stewie, and Brian each of who have their own objectives to complete. For instance, Stevie faces off against his evil brother Bertram (You know, the kid with the two female parents) as both attempt to rule the world. Peter’s quest is to stop Mr. Belvedere from attempting to do the same. Finally Brian has to escape from a prison so he can also take of the world.

2k and High Voltage report that there will be combat based gameplay which also features stealth and puzzle-solving elements. They also mention that you can play out the random weird sequences that show up in the actual sitcom.

Another interesting tidbit is that there will be over 200 character cameo apperances in the show. As long as they have the evil monkey (which they will!), I am happy.

The game will be hitting shelves later this year for PSP, PS2 and XBox and we will let you know when more information is available.

i reckon its a bad idea as it will be difficult to keep the game as funny while making a good game,i bought simpsons hit and run and simpsons wrestling they were both fun but get boring very quick

I don't know if this will be a great seller. I never liked the one for the simpsons. I'd reather just watch the show on TV and be happy with that. It just doesn't seem like you could make something exciting from the show.

ya same here...it will suck...i dont think family guy is not a game to make (since family guy is known 4 its comedy) and i dont think it would be living up to that...it should stay as tv show
