Nothing is free.

We all know nothing comes for free chrislg987, but then those sites clearly state that you must apply for an offer, then refer a certain amount of friends after you've registered (Obviously the friends also have to complete an offer, just as the person who signed up did), in-order to recieve the item they are proposing.

Their way of process; the item isn't free, they recieve money from the stores which you sign up for, alot of these stores are free to sign up for, and usually have a free trial. The amount of people visiting those sites, and becoming a a full member after the trial, have increased severely since advertised via referal systems such as those above. So basically, the site which proposes the free items to you, gets paid from the site you signed up for, because the site proposing the item to you, sent them you, a potential customer.

It isn't really a scam, expecially if you do it correctly, but indeed, it is a pyramid scheme, and they are associated with risk, which wards people away.
