Hi,

I received my PSP iFM gadget 2 days ago.
So far, I am quite disappointed with that product. The associated tuner has a very low sensivity: so you catch only few radio stations even outside.
When you catch one radio, the sound is somewhat okay.

If you decide now to listen to the music on your PSP thru that device using remote mode, the sound is very low when compared to a direct connection with your headset.

So I am sad.gif

Yes, it is a radio!

I didn't want to buy one of them. I mean for 50 bucks for a radio I'd rather but maybe a really good radio for 10-15 bucks.

$50 is way to much for that, i can use PSPRadio but it olny uses shoutcasts, but it will do
PsPmAnIaC1
Ya it shouldnt cost $50

$50? I think I'd buy an fm capable MP3 player for around that price.

I've heard that the iFM uses the cord as its antenna, so if you bundle your cord up, maybe it's not able to get as strong signals?
Twisted3313
yea i would say so like a radio wire antenna

Thanks for letting me know...now I probably won't get one

If you get the FM tuner, I suggest getting the Phillips made brand. it's $20.00-$30.00 just about. Pretty good quality, after all, it is phillips. And I don't know where you live, but in the D.C. metropolitan area, it works perfectly fine.

maybe it depends on the location on how clear would the signal is... are there any other who tried using it also from a different location/place???

MD to D.C. works just fine for me. I don't see what the problem is.
