Griffin Technology today announced its commitment to become the maker of the world's most advanced PlayStation Portable accessories.

Griffin recognizes that the PSP's potential goes far beyond gaming. "It's obvious that the PSP is much more than a gaming machine," said Paul Griffin, CEO of Griffin Technology. "Since the PSP has proven itself as a great entertainment platform, we're ready to apply our iPod innovations to the PlayStation."

As the first of a series of PSP products to be introduced in short order, Griffin has reinvented its iFM Radio Tuner and Remote Control. iFM for PSP integrates FM radio tuning and a handy remote control in a tiny, unobtrusive enclosure. With iFM, your PSP becomes a powerful, portable stereo FM tuner with advanced features such as digital auto station scan with wraparound and six station presets. A Band-Switch function allows switching between US, European and Japanese FM bands for tuning anywhere in the world.

iFM's large, easy-to-read display makes tuning easy. The built-in pass-through port makes iFM convenient for headphones, and the belt clip makes it convenient for carrying. With a single button, listeners can switch between favorite FM programming or music stored on the PSP.

Give your PSP what it's been missing — Radio.

that thing is a piece of shit, look at it, all it does is use the psp's power for an external tuner, if i wanted a small "stand alone" fm tuner i'd buy one that doesn't "suck off" my psp's battery!
MrRIGHT192
well it probably uses the psp's speakers and uses little power

watch your language, kids read this stuff too

why woudl some one pay 50 bucks for a tuner for the psp?

Someone really needs to catch kids attention by making a strong car tuner, seems like most of these dont sound well because the radio signal is inadequate. If anyone has tested shout here.
