Sony announced plans to cut the prices of PSP around the world and, depending on your geographical position on the planet, the new suggested retail price will be $199, $299.99 (CND), Euro199 and Y19,800. Sony Computer Entertainment America Inc.said it will continue to expand its successful PSP™ (PlayStation® Portable) platform by making a new PSP hardware package available for the said retail price. The new PSP hardware package offers consumers the same access to game titles, music, movies, communication and wireless networking. The new North American and Eurozone price takes effect on March 22nd while the reduced Japanese tag price won’t show up in stores until April 15.
