I was just wandering if some1 is making a firmware that combines the hacking ability of the 1.5 and the extra abilities of the 2.+ like being able to play wma files.

well once there was this guy talking about making a dual flash modchip were u could chose which flash to load.... but i think he abandoned the project.....

i believe a few people had been thinking about doing this, the only problem i think was they'd have to physicaly flash it because it would not be signed to allow the update to run on the PSP.

umm i don't thinkt that there is a homebrew firmware but mph got pretty close to one of these things by using the umd loader and the firmware launcher then you can use the web browser, load gta and other games requiring firmware 2.00 and the ability to launch homebrew's through the main menu

yea i think that no one has mad one yet, i am sure if they do it will be every were tho

i hope that someone desides to just enhance the current firmware, not create a new one.
