Normally I would recommend ebay, but they have lots of fakes, even when I looked a couple days ago I saw one that I was sure was a fake(and in the guys feedback people had complained of fakes). So I would say look at bestbuy they had a 4GB for $100 and I think I remember a few weeks ago a 2GB for $50(not sure about that).

They are fake in that they are not actual Sony/Sandisk official memory sticks.
In some cases this will mean that they do not work properly.
Exactly. The memory chip on the fake memory sticks is.. umm fake?

That means that they have no warranty that they will keep on working for many years or/and it can get corrupted often or/and say that its 4GB but it cant take more than 1GB data.
Imagine the fake stick getting corrupted the moment you are flashing your PSP with an update or downgrade.. You will end up with a brick.

Play.com are your best bet. Fantastic site, no messing around and it's damned cheap. I just bought GTA Vice City of it for £19.99! They have a SanDisk Gaming Memory Stick PRO Duo 2GB for £39.99 and the P&P is free on all items.
Cheers,
Chris

eBay has been fine in my experience.
Just make sure they have a good rating, like over 1,000 and a obviously a good %. Pay with Paypal and you can pretty much always get your money back and make sure you read the advert properly

I bought 1GB, 2GB and 4GB all from eBay in the time I had my PSP and never had any issues.
I got my 4GB from eBay early Dec for £45 delivered...
Cant argue with that can you?
