Lumo has come out with a brand new release, 3DB Loader (preview). For the people who dont know what amazing work the Lumo has been doing on 3d modeling on the PSP you should check out his tech demos. This demo features improved Mel export script as well as adding model support and conversion tools. Here is a list of updates for preview 5:

Lumo is still trying to find a beta tester. This person will need to have some programming knowledge and be willing to help test his PRX file and integrate it into a test program. Once this has been tested and a good running sample produced, Lumo will release the PRX for all. If you have programming skills and want to assist him, let him know via the comments or email.
