Sony Execs in Japan announced that they will be expanding Sony's elusive “PlayStation Spot” service nationwide, among 150 complex cafes and around 150 game related stores.
The “PlayStation Spot” service is a service that makes use of the “Game Sharing” function on the PSP, magically deploying game data to multiple PSPs within its local area. Currently, it is in use in over 12 game shops in Japan.
The “PlayStation Spot” station will appear in 5 train stations from March 14, and in 150 complex cafes from February 27 to Mid March. Gaming stores will start to get deployed from April. The titles available for download now are “Beithell 200”, “LocoRoco” and um, “Laughing Egg L Size”.
