Other sites are hosting a file that will remove the 10 min limit on the MPH's New Game Loader.
Here at PSP-SPOT we stronlgly believe that this is not the way to go, MPH has given so much to the community; 2.0 Downgrader, Firmware Launcher, and now this Breakthrough: GameLoader.

Yes I know that we are ALL happy and excited to play GTA (especially the full version) but if we modify other coders work, and claim it our own, he may not release the Universal Loader in the future.

He decided to limit the game play on GTA for 10mins in order for you to create a buzz and visit his site, its not like he said he will never release the full version, he is.... in a week. So in the mean time give this guy the praise that he deserves for this Fantastic Breakthrough in our scene and Donate to him or Click on his banners on his webpage.

We here will not be hosting the "modified file" of MPH's loader until we ge the OK from MPH himself.
(anyone caught posting links to other sites hosting the file or any ISO's will be Banned)

"Come on guys, just wait a week and then you'll make him happy and he will continue what he does best."

I just have sent 5 euro to MPH, for me it's not a question of piracy. MPH has done much work for >2.0 users.

Keep up the good work

MPH has put 100's of hours on his releases, and it makes leechers like you make people like Humma, Fanjita and other great coders stop testing on PSPs. What have you done for the community other than leech sh*t that others worked hard in developing... Team "iND" choose to re-name the GameLoader and thus giving themselves all the credit for MPHs release. I will not screw over MPH by supporting the other release.

Yes we all know where else to get that file and thats fine and all, but we will not host it yet...

These views are NOT ONLY my own, I have talked to other Webmasters about this modded-file and they also have choosen not to host it on there front page, take a look, you won't find it on psp-news, psp3d, updates, pspzones, etc... This is all for the same reason... have some respect and grow up.

( I have choosen not to delete or modify your post; just to let others see how rediculous you look )

smart move stylez, i think. lol

anyways, 10 minutes isnt that bad, its enough to finish a mission, and save, lol.

much respekt to MPH and Humma. and everyone else who's hard work went into making this possible.
haredx
I support MPHs work, I even donated to them, but I think the 10 minute time limit is stupid as hell. You're making a file to run a game illegally and putting a restriction on it to get more money? That's just dumb.
brakken
Unlike other authors who come out and demand money before they release vaporware or authors who ask for money and never deliver MPH is just asking for a little bit of money to help him continue his work. He has delivered a product and will deliver the full version. In my opinion he is nothing like the other authors and deserves a bit of credit. I donted - why don't you?
SideFFect
Brakken? as in brakken the owner from ps2banz?

Also, for ppl who are complaining about the 10minute time limit... oh boo frickin hoo.

"ouu look at us! we're too cheap to spend money on a game we NEED to play because we want to look cool so lets bash the ONE person who made this possible in the first place"

All he wants is some more hits to his site so he can buy a new psp to test for 2.50+ purposes...THUS, giving BACK to the community and all you selfish little pricks.

Good job. I hope he stops the project and doesnt release anything anymore. I would.

like i said, I did donate, but donations should be optional, people who ask for donations to unlock full versions of homebrew apps is what destroys the scene, same thing happened with PS2 when ps2nfo started charging money for an application to run games off the hard drive. The developers in the XBOX scene ALWAYS release their work for free and never paralyze their code to get more money which is why the XBOX scene is the best one out there. Writing homebrew apps should be only to help the community not to make money, if he wants to make money he should apply as a programmer for a major company.

OK. is there any(and i no this will probably be a no for both Q's but...) way that i can run homebrew on 2.6. and ... is there any way to downgrade from v2.6 to anything from 2.0 to maybe 1.5
Harry1
A7mag3ddon
you guys slagging of the coder should sit back and think last week most people were asking for cracks and hacks to play the new wave of games on 1.5 psp's.

Now the concept software is released, if everyone carries on then you will be able to play GTA ONLY and he wont released the universal loader.

Sorry bud, unfortunately not yet....

Be patient, I remember a couple months back we asked the question "When will GTA run on 1.5?"
many said: never, but as you see now its possible, so continue supporting the scene and you will be rewarded smile.gif
lm_mario
What’s with all the replies that this is illegally so hacking MPH’s work is just fine? I bought GTA. I own it. I will make an ISO of the game, I own, and run the patch to play it on my 1.5. Those people are short sited. Bureaucracy put in the requirement for firmware 2.0+ not anything else. WTF is your problem if you can't give a coder a break. Being a 20+ yr old PSP owner the scene seems a little young (aka 13-15+ yr olds). I can't stand the petty back n' forth. MPH is a grown man has kids and a wife. He could be doing so many other things besides coding for your juvenile whims.

Other scenes that steal work aka this resent release and others like Yoshihiro and whatever his group is called make me sick.

If you think about it, why copy someone else’s work. Is it for the recognition? Everyone will know you copied. Is it for the satisfaction of a job well done? You didn’t do the work.

Just my thoughts… mellow.gif

hahahahhaha.

true words from alot of people. however, i wonder why people are saying that its not good that we should PAY for homebrew. not in those words, but that was what they are saying. mph isnt forcing us to pay for the full version. he fully stated that no matter the outcome of the donations, the full one will be released next week. infact, im dissapointed in a certain group for releasing a patch to remove the time limit. as i said before, 10 minutes is all we need to do a mission, and save. lol. its a demo afterall. its not like we have to buy the full one, we just have to wait a few days. very very very very very unpatient people.

again, thanks alot mph.
ViolenceMan
Some of you here need to learn some respect, seriously.

You cry, complain, whimper about stuff that you're doing nothing about.

Hey lorick, if we're so damn cheap by using imageshack, why dont you fork over some money for us to use buddy? sweet lord of pan bread people!

And people who make homebrew stuff, bless their souls, usually release it for free! You guys should know that these guys and gals could easily sell their stuff and make a profit from it, but instead they give it freely to the gaming community.

If you're complaining about a homebrew thing, get off your butt and learn how to do it yourself. Be lucky that you even have this kind of stuff.

Im going to commence in eating now. Rawr!!
haredx
fyi, even if you own the game, copying it into an ISO and running it off your memory card is STILL illegal, so I don't care if you own it, you are still illegally copying and running the game from your memory card.
Makiel
I knew if I was patient enough the day would come smile.gif I wonder if mph would accept a psp battery as a donation....

What day of the week is it? If the corporations had their way they would install software to monitor your computer when you put a CD in to play it (oh wait Sony already did that and got busted for it). Depending on the day of the week the ruling on backing-up the product you paid for changes.

Microsoft is pushing for a technology called HD-DVD that will legally allow you to backup your disks. So maybe that will become the fad.

I will backup what I d*mn well please. The company got their money. The programmers got their money and if a respectable homebrewer wants a donation he will get my money.

I think you missed the entire part where the money wasn't a condition and that he would release the unlimited patcher in 10 days. If he had demanded money for an application he did not create and stole (PS2NFO) then I would of told him where to go stick it instead of donating to him. He's done far more for the scene then others who ask for money before showing nothing have and he has my support. Like I said above - he is going to release the program no matter if he gets enough donations or not.

And yes, I am the brakken who runs the Anti-PS2 Scene Trash blog smile.gif The oftently called attention whore who has done what all others said I couldn't do. Blah, blah blah smile.gif
haredx
"it's to do a little pub for my site, for boost adsense and the donations ;-)"

He said it himself, money is a condition, the only reason he put the limit on there was to get more money. Even without the limit I gurantee he would have MORE than enough money to buy 3 psps to test on if he wanted, so I see no point at all of the limit.
DJGreen
I agree with STYLEZ here totally,

People who think that it is dumb to put the 10 minute limit on the game may have a point, however since the game has been released people have been begging coders to try and get the game running on 1.5. Without MPH, Humma, Fanjita etc we would still be where we were a few months ago ... with nothing

All the programs you use on your PSP to play your ISOs etc are created by these guys, they have their reasons for limiting their software at the moment and tbh you just need to respect that. MPH said they will release their full version pretty soon, and im grateful for all the hard work those guys have done on this scene. Without them we would all be using 2.6 PSP's and buying all our games legit.
SideFFect
heh whats up brakken! tongue.gif

And is it just me, or does MPH's website say he has released the full version of the game loader? (altho I cant find the link....)

- SideFFect -
silvershadow
yes, its on the site, its the same link as the old one. he just changed that one file. the readme and everything remained the same. (according to everyone else..i havent tested it myself yet)..although i should, cause im sick of the 10 mins, lol.
djp
its not the point that we are "cheap to host" our image files. it just makes it easier for us to get the pictures up quicker, and we mostly use heresmyimage.com which is owned by the PSP-Spot network.
