Okay, so I just bought a PSP and GTA: LCS yesterday. I'm trying to get the SNES emulation working well. I've got FW 2.0 and I'm using the GTA loader. I've tried to use Snes9x_TYL v0.3 which is suppost to be designed for 2.0+ and no luck. When it loads I read the agreement and once I get to the bottem of the agreement, I hit X. Then an error comes up that says there is something wrong with my memory stick and then no ROMs show up. I've got uo_Snes9x right now, and it works but runs very low FPS 12-15 avg. and I have the settings tweaked; 333Mhz, Frameskip 03, Autoframe skip ON...
Anyone know how I can fix this.. maybe get Snes9x TYL working?
Thanks.

I have never encountered this problem, so i can't help you.
PSP!!!
tyl does not work on 2.01+ psps
if you have a 2.0, downgrade to 1.5 and run tyl, it will be very smooth

if you're using uo_snes9x most games should run pretty good with settings of:

333mhz
auto framskip on
frameskip 1
sound 44khz

some games like donkey kong 1 and mario kart will run slower than others, but uo_snes9x is still just a beta.

well if you have firmware 2.00 why are you using gta's eloader?????(when its still in development and you can use another eboot loader and it works way better) biggrin.gif

you should vidit fanjita's place and actually read the things on it http://www.fanjita.org/psp.html
you should get the firmware 2.00 eboot loader that works through via photo veiwer and you can run like 80-90% of all homebrew biggrin.gif

you can get the eboot loader here: http://files.fanjita.org/psp/loader09.rar

(make sure that you have winrar to unzip this file)
you can get winrar here: http://www.rarlab.com/

just put the files in the root directory of your memory stick put a custom backgroung on the psp and make sure you just rebooted it (said to work better with a freshly turned on psp)
once you have the eboot loader running just choose a homebrew game and it'll start tongue.gif

you can also downgrade your psp to firmware 1.5 where you can take full atvantage of homebrew but you can't play gta on firmware 1.5 and no firmware changer will make gta work on firmware 1.5 sad.gif

you can get mph's dowgrader and the 1.5 upgrade from here: http://www.psp-hacks.com/category/10

i recommend that you stay and use the firmware 2.0 eboot loader because you have gta and 80-90% of homebrew biggrin.gif
