I am wondering, is anyone having issues with the volume not being super loud in the headphones?!? I like to crank my music and it seems that the PSP has horrible volume levels.. Anyone create a headphone amp for this or?!?!

The PSPs output level is too low. There's plenty of commercial headphone amps available. I don't think the PSPs SNR is all that hot, so you shouldn't need anything too flash.

What kind of headphones are you using?

I've got a pair of Sony MDR-V700DJs that sound great on the PSP. Plenty loud, though completely lacking in mobility.

To get MAXIMUM out put and mobility you need the PELICAN HEADBANGER AUDIO EARSUBS. These are earbuds that work really well. You have to use the AVLS so you aren't allowed to turn up the volume all the way or you will damage your ears with the loudness. The earsubs ahve a built in subwoofer that plays bass extremely well. Head over to a Circuit City where they sell these for only 19.99. They own.
