Ok so here is a little tutorial on Firmware for 2.6 PSPs.

1. First of all you will need these things:

- A 2.0/2.01/2.5/2.6 PSP
- A MemoryStick
- A copy of GTA LCS
- A USB Cable
- Fanjita's eLoader (here)

2. Extract the files in the .RAR onto your PSP (this will overwrite any existing GTA save in slot 5, so make sure you have this saved somewhere else)

3. Move your main GTA save off the Memory Stick, and then back on again, this makes sure that it auto loads instead of the eLoader.

4. Run GTA on your PSP, wait for your game to load, then press start, go to load game, then click on the eLoader save.

5. Wait a little while, this can take anywhere upto 30 seconds, you should see a black screen with a little white message about the loader at the top, followed by the loader menu, this will automatically find any homebrew in the GAME folder.

6. Click on the homebrew you want to run, and wait.

7. You are now running homebrew on 2.6!

F.A.Q

Q - My homebrew will not load, my PSP just shuts off!

A - This is fine, as the loader is still in the beta stages, it still has a few problems. Just try again.

Q - Is my PSP getting damaged when it turns itself off?

A - No, not at all. The loader doesnt have the ability to return to the PSP menu yet.

- More to Come -
