I have aquired an ISO of this game and have tried running it with both fastloader 0.7 and UMDEmulator but with both it just crashes my PSP

Anyone got any ideas/settings I should be using?

yea it does work, anyway, what game is it and whats thee firmware of your psp, if its 2.1 or above it will not work, if its 2.0 you can downgrade it to 1.5 and play them

i'm running 1.5 and can't get it to work. Although i havn't tried the copy load thingy that worked with champ manager

it worked for me i used umd emulatore and i have a 1.5 psp

yes it worked for me too. you just cant load your save game.

Then, place PRX2_0_0 folder (in PSP_GAME\USRDIR folder) has the root of your memory stick.

Execute then DecryptPRX, it will create in PRX2_0_0 folder somes files with dcr extensions, remove all the prx files and replace with the dcr files created (remove the .dcr extension) (to replace the crypted prx by the deciphered prx).

so i have the prx2_0_0 folder and i dunno where to put it. i dont know how to execute decrptprx either help!! total noob =[

Translation

Grab an ISO of GTA from wherever you get your shat from.

Extract all the files from the ISO ( I just used winrar).

Go to where you extracted the GTA ISO and find the PRX2_0_0. Copy that whole folder and paste it in the root of your memory stick.

Copy the DECRYPTPRX & DECRYPTPRX% into your PSP/GAME folder on your memory stick

Run the DECRYPTPRX program on the memory stick. When it's done, it'll tell you to remove the battery to reboot it.

Go into that PRX2_0_0 folder you copied to the root of your memory stick and delete all files with .PRX as the extension. Now, remame files with .DCR to have .PRX at the end (just rename and backspace the .DRC) located in PRX2_0_0/KMOD & PRX2_0_0/MOD

Now cut and paste the PRX2_0_0 folder from the memory stick back into your extracted GTA game. Overwriting all the old files.

Rebuild the ISO

Put that ISO in your memory stick's ISO folder

Copy MPHGAMELOADER & MPHGAMELOADER to your PSP/Game folder

Copy the MPHGameLoader into the root of your memory stick

Download 2.00 firmware from http://www.psp-hacks.com/downloads.php and throw that on your stick

Get the MPH firmware loader from maxconsole and put the MPHFL & MPHFL% in your PSP/GAME folder on the memory stick

Run the firmware launcher and follow the instructions to install 2.00
"You will need firmware 2.00 in files format, use psardump to obtain it or my firmware launcher and use the function to install a firmware."

Now you should have the flash0 & flash1 folders. Move those 2 folders to the MPHGameLoader folder

Run UMDEMULATOR and select system menu and make sure flash0 & 1 are both off. Launch the GTA ISO.

Once back to the PSP menu, launch the MPHGAMELOADER.
