Full Version: HELP MY PSP IS DEAD?

Hi guys, i need extreme help please, im a newbie on this, my problem is:

I try to put the UMD dumper alpha v0.001 in to my memory stick, before this i patched the EBOOT.PBP file with seiPSPtool.exe, and then it create two folders that i named UMD, these folders appeared in PSP/GAME/ directory one its UMD and the other UMD%, i try to play: Puzzle_Bobble_JAP_PSP-DEV,and is an iso, i put that iso in the UMD directory without %, when i try to run the program, in the screen appear "UMD DUMPER: WAIT FOR UMD DRIVE TO BE READY"

its shows many times in a row,in the readme file of the UMD dumper says:"UMD Dumper: Opening Memstick iso file for writing
UMD Dumper: Opening success
UMD Dumper: Opening UMD filesystem for reading
UMD Dumper: Wait for UMD drive to be ready
UMD DUMPING...
Don't Shutdown PSP

i shutdowned my psp, i dont read the readme file before this and now i cant back to the menu, in put off my psp but the lines continues appearing i dont know what to do please guys help me, i dont wanna a dead psp, i only buy it a 2 weeks ago,please consider this post.

Seems like its stuck in the UMD dumper even when you turn it on. Okay first try pressing the home button and see if you can return if not. turn on the power and hold the power button up till the psp turns off. If that doesn't work, pull out the battery wait a while than put it back in and see what happens.

Thanks everybody, i fixed my problem, simple i try this:

Inserted a umd demo, then screen change with another message, i ignore it,the with the umd in the psp i turned off my psp,when i turned back on, it fixed automatically, uff i m saved,a little bit more and i sell it to you in a low price, jejeje just jocking, i never sell my little treasure, i guess you think the same with your consoles,is the new generation of portable consoles, i love it more than the DS,i dont have one but never buy it. i only 100% sony wink.gif

I never had a problem with the UMD dumper when shutting it down after it was done/during dumping. So I excepted the PSP to be fine, just required abit of revival wink.gif

Ah well better luck with another potential brick next time. biggrin.gif
