So the game doesn't stick with the tradional gameplay... but still I think it's a great game.

Graphic: 9.5/10 - I mean... wow... the drawings for the story is also sweet, although I would of preferred the good o' beautiful 3D CG movies...

Story: 9/10 - I didn't finish the game yet, but it's great so far.

Gameplay: 9/10 - for what it is, it's a great card turn base game

Learning: 30min- 2 hours - I think it's quite easy, but it'll take awhile for you to get used to if it's your first time playing a card based game. You have to read your turn and notice how long you have to wait and plan ahead.

Fraustration: 7/10 - Okay the game can get annoying sometimes... because you get points at the end of your mission for not killing, move fast, and hot found. Which can be challenging, but you can save your game during a mission so fraustration is more like 4/10. It's just annoying how you have to repeat a mission , for me because I always try to get it perfect. If you just wiz through without caring, then you won't have a prob with fraustation.

I would recommend it if you're a puzzl type of person. If you're a hardcore shooter or fighter... I think you should try something else. I just don't think it's for everyone.

this game seem'ed more of a kids game to me. i was expecting original mgs, boy oh boy was i pist when i started playing it
evilsgoten
Yea, it's not for everyone, but i wouldn't say it's a kid game...
ArthurK
Im a HUGE metal gear fan but I have no idea what this game will be like since its some sort of "card" game. Heh what do I know I still havnt played a game on the psp anyway. I think Im missing out.
Chouonsoku
Like arthur, I bought this mostly for the fan base. It wasn't directed by Kojima, so obvioulsy it isn't going to be as good as the other games. It was really just a way to let the new director get a good feel before they start working on Metal Gear Solid 4. It's a good game, but I prefer the MGS series.
pspspider
I wish konami release one only for the PSP or rerelease MGS 1 like twin snake on GC
Chouonsoku
I don't think that there will be anymore re-releases of MGS or MGS2... but there is still hope for a MGS3 port.
ArthurK
MGS3 Would Be too much for the PSP Im guessing.
Chouonsoku
Um... the PSP is just as powerful as the PS2, but I did say port. So they could either tone it down or make Metal Gear Solid 3: Substance the first 2 UMD game.
ArthurK
The PSP is as powerful as the ps2? Im not sure about that one..
Chouonsoku
Ugh. Fine. Proof.

So, don't have any info on the GPU for the PSP, but the processor exceeds the PlayStation 2, and they both have the same amount of main memory and embeded DRAM... they don't call it a PlayStation Portable for nothing smile.gif

Chouonsoku
What they need to do is remake the original Metal Gear games for the PSP (kind of like FF Anthology and Chronicles) where they can have the same graphics (MSX2 was uber compared to the NES at the time), but newly made cut scenes.
