hi guys,
i'm new to the scene here and i've been searching for a way to hide corrputed data folders on the PSP. i've tried searching the forums but haven't been able to find the answer. i know its done by renaming the folder (something like putting a specific amount of blank spaces and ending with a 1) but i'm not so sure of the actual procedure. if someone could please help me out it would be greatly appreciated. biggrin.gif

rename on the mem stick like this:
am using mercury as example

MERCURR(24 spaces)1
MERCUR~1%

CODEDAR(24 spaces)1
CODEDA~1%

First folder has 7 letters, 24 spaces, and a 1
Second folder has 6 letters, squiggly line, a 1, a %
Have both folder identical interms of spelling, with the second folder having a reduced letter from the end.

hi snake,
i've tried the method u mentioned above however my games didn't start. as an example of what i did:

BleachMS & BleachMS%
was renamed:
BleachM(24 spaces)1 and Bleach~1%

the courrpted folders were hidden but my games couldn't start.
is there something i'm not doing or have done wrong??

Thats maybe because some games need the to folders to be like they are and not rename them and some games work if you rename them.

Rename the folders to anything u want in 3-4 letters...

ABCD( 29 spaces ) 1

ABCD1~1%

I've tried this method and all Games,Apps and Emus worked.
