Just got my PSP, love it, got movies on it and am trying games but have problems. I'm sure they are easy for you pros out there. So, please help me become one too, so I can get some stuff uploaded after I figure out how to do this.
Here's the deal. I have a PSP running Firmware 1.5 and have 1 GIG of memory. A friend Sent me Puzzle_Bobble. I unrared it to the root of the memory stick. I can see 3 dirs...
Common
PSP
PSP_Puzz

I started the PSP and can see the game icon unger games. When I select it, I see a really nice background. When I run it, I get a brief loader screen (Black with some small text at the top of the screen) followed by a colorful screen that says "Please Wait", then it locks up.

All I have tried, thus far is .....Under PSP\GAME, I have renamed BAM1~1% to BAM% and renamed BAM 1 to BAM. When I restarted the PSP, the thing happenes. Any advice??

Thanks,

Hi it is the loader I adjusted. But I forgot to do one thing. In the folder common you have to make an other folder named prx.
Then in the folder prx you copy all the .prx files from puzzle bobble.
And then it should work.

I have this problem too. Apprently my loader is a "no UMD required" loader but the game freezes at the blue loading screen.

The remedy this, I just put in my Lumines (Jap) UMD and it works. Try putting a UMD in the drive. It will probably load thereafter.
