I have tried both the Jap & Us versions of CodedArms but both of them hang on the loading screen.

Any ideas?

Most of the time the problem is that you have multiple games and you have them named so they are hiding the corrupted folders. Just rename the folders in the game directory to codearms and codearms%

i thought that was the old way ?

need to be a bitmore specific, ie what loader? what umd (if using any umd loader)and what iso( ripped or unripped) and what firmware. I got this running with lumines in the drive on my 1.50

I have read your sticky and I can't see how it helps, I have done everything you have said in your guide and it still hangs on the loading screen with 'Now Loading'

I have not done anything with PRX files as in your guide and the loader there is no mention of needing them with CA.

Hey Funkychimp, i also own ridgeracers so i gave it a go and didn't work, seems alot of people having problems loading with ridgeracers in the drive from what i've read. I would imagine any other umd would work, just ridgeracers seems to one of the first games causing problems for booting isos. Do you not own any other umds that you could try?

Trust me, if you REALLY followed everything word for word, it should've worked, i'm sure because i trial and error'd the hell out of that stupid loading screen. My first mistake was actually not waiting long enough for it to load lol.

I tried it with ridge racer it works. Get the fresh iso follow step by step on a clean memory stick and it can't fail.

hmmms strange. never worked on my jap rr, but works spot on with mercury, lumines and twisted metal. nm just a lilmore time and another loader willarrive.....fingers crossed for v3.0

optimusprime - Is it the JAP RR you are using?

Now, this might sound dumb, but did you try re-copying over the boot.bin from the .rar? Most people tend to transfer the rar onto the ms first, then accidentally overwrite the boot.bin with the one from the .iso, thereby making the loader not work again. Try that.
