i downloaded a movie and it was already mp4 and i try to put it on with the whole m4v10001 thing and it doesnt work. it shows up as unsupported data and i have even converted the files over again with xilisoft. please help quick

The letters are capitals...they need to go into the 100MNV01 folder with a THM file. If you have 3.XX, they go into the video folder in the root of your memory stick without a THM if you wish.

3.xx is the official firmware number. example 3.51 of the new 3.60

Don't go to official firmware, go to Custom Firmware

I believe if the file starts off with MAQxxxxxx put it in your 100MNV01 folder If it's M4Vxxxxxx put it your video folder but also I see you have 3.52m33 so I don't know if it's the same as 3.xxoe I hopes that helps

From what i can see, the 3.xx OE uses the same folder standards as the new 3.52 M33

ckyisdashit I just downloaded a movie and rename it to the name of movie and put it on my psp and it shows up as unsupported data. I rename it back to MAQxxxxxxx and it worked

Use Xilisoft Converter..Bomber uploaded it and its really cool biggrin.gif

save the files as your desktop then download PSP Video Manager.

both software is really working neat for me. cool.gif
