I have some WMVs that I downloaded form putfile.com and I cant get them to play on my PSP. I use the program called 3GP Converter []. Is there a way I can convert WMVs to a real video format like AVI or MPEG?? Please not by a real format I mean a good format, not RAM,RA,RM, etc.I like using my current converter since it trims the file just right for the PSP, afterall you don’t need a high-res video for a 5 inch screen! Also I think it converts the sound to mono, but I hardly tell, most likely because the speakers are so close anyways. Anyone have any ideas, I h8 WMV and putfile encourages it so much. IT SUX!

There is no updated version that I know of.
And you are right in that it is very unstable and doesn't have a great compatibility rate.

You have to use PSP Video 9 or Videora to convert them to mp4 format... unless you have a FW 3.00 PSP

the recommended program, pspplayer rarely works, especially for files downloaded off the internet. it is unstable, doesnt open very much and playback is not great.
i recommend you jus convert them
